Add 256 dwelling units to the Floyds Fork Special District (FF DRO) with over 60 being in the current floodplain. Design is to fill in the floodplain and dig flood storage basins and combine them with water quality basins. This is the same design of Redwood that was just shown during the January 3rd storm to be completely ineffective for water quality. Additionally, neighbors stated it was the highest flooding levels they had seen in 50 years (and this was from just 3" of rain, which of course we have had many times over the past 50 years!).

Change in Zoning from R-R Rural Residential to R-4 Single-Family Residential, located entirely within the Floyds Fork Special District (FF DRO).
3. Email Mayor Greenberg
Remind Mayor Greenberg of his campaign commitment to protect Floyds Fork. Urge him to direct his Planning and Design Services staff to strengthen the Floyds Fork DRO language in our Land Development Code, to create better and larger buffers for Floyds Fork (Jefferson County's premier wildlife corridor), and to eliminate changing elevation and adding sewage pump stations to the floodplain.
